An incomplete copper alloy nut cracker, of Late Post Medieval to Early Modern dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD). Less than 50% of the nutcrackers are present, with most of one arm present. The hinge is missing from the top of the arm. The outer face is decorated by three sets of paired horizontal ribs, and its cross section is semi circular. Below this the arm is plain until the acorn molding. The inner face has multiple horizontal ridges. An acorn shaped terminal is present at the lower end.
