An incomplete repaired sheet copper alloy metal hinge or possible buckle plate of probable Medieval dating (c. AD 1200 to AD 1500). The hinge has been made from one piece of sheet copper alloy metal folded over and three rectangular loops cut out. The base is rectangular, with an incomplete circular rivet hole present on the outer edge. The hinge has been repaired twice. Once when the left hand loop broke, and another sheet of copper alloy metal was inserted inside the hinge with a new loop and riveted in place. The rivet is now missing. An incomplete copper-alloy decorative hinge element from either a box/casket or a book, of Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1500 - c. AD 1700). The hinge section is roughly rectangular with three rectangular protrusions, which would have created the hinge junction. Beneath these protrusions is a squared piece of sheet metal, with rounded corners. Two holes are present in it, currently with two circular round rivets still in situ. A complete copper alloy hinge, probably from a book or a box, probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1800). The hinge is in two sections. The lower part is sub triangular in shape, with a pointed base. A key shaped hole is present in the centre, and the top of this section is wrapped around the axis bar in the upper part.
