A complete silver finger ring of Modern dating (AD 1720 onwards).
The finger ring is of the plain hoop style, with a flattened D shape cross section. No inscription or maker's marks are present on the interior. No decoration on the exterior. There is a dark vertical line at one point, probably where the ring got resized at some point.

A complete silver applied bezel finger ring with decorated hoop. The finger ring has a hoop with a flat cross section, and an applied bezel. The hoop has been made from a length of flat sheet metal, formed into a circular shape, and soldered onto the reverse of the bezel. Both ends of the hoop are visible on the reverse.

A complete silver finger ring of Modern dating (AD 1800 to AD 2000).
The finger ring has a wide oval bezel, which is flat and fully integrated with the hoop. In the centre of the bezel, is a curvilinear, leaf like design. The hoop has a D shaped cross section. The maximum width of the bezel is 6.1 mm. The minimum width of the hoop is 2.2 mm. The hoop is 1.6 mm thick.
The finger ring has an external diameter of 19.7 mm and an internal diameter of 16.1 mm. It weighs 2.1 g.

A complete gilded silver signet finger ring. The bezel is circular. The device consists of a crown above two initials in black letter script. The initials are ‘dh’. The device is within a beaded border, with chevrons pointing inwards.
The hoop has been decorated with a twisted rope effect. This has been created by cleared spaced indented lines. The raised parts have a line of rouletting on them.

A complete straightened, probable snake style finger ring, of possible Roman date (AD 43 to AD 410).
The probable finger ring has a D shaped cross section. Both terminals are rounded, one end is wider than the other. The maximum width of the terminals is 4.2 mm and the minimum width is 2.1 mm. The ring has been partially straightened out, and has a full length of 53 mm. No decoration is present on the upper surface.

The finger ring is circular, with a D shape cross section. No makers marks are present or an inscription on the inside. The bezel consists of four petalled flower, with raised pellet centre. The probable finger ring has been divided into three sections. Each section has been curled round to form a loop, and all three sections interlock with each other to form a sub spherical shape. Around 25% of the finger ring is present. The band is flat with a rectangular cross section. The exterior is decorated. Present is a feather or a long leaf and part of an inscription in black letter script, probably reading NON.
The finger ring fragment measures 18.0 mm in length, 4.7 mm wide and 0.7 mm thick. It weighs 0.4 g.

The finger ring has a D shaped hoop, and an applied bezel. The hoop has been made from a length of D sectioned metal, formed into a circular shape, and soldered onto the reverse of the bezel. Both ends of the hoop are visible on the reverse. The bezel consists of a central heart with two quatrefoil shaped flowers, one to either side, attached by two curved branches. An incomplete gilded silver iconographic finger ring of Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1500).
The bezel is formed of two ridges with three faceted panels, each engraved with quatrelobed designs. The shoulders and the remains of the hoop are formed of a central ridge with two faceted panels which are engraved with a zig-zag design. The hoop is broken, approximately half of the ring surviving. This type of ring is described as iconographic as many examples are engraved with religious imagery.
