An incomplete copper alloy signet ring of late medieval to post medieval date. The bezel is oval in shape, 17.1 mm in length, 14.7 mm wide and is raised from the line of the hoop. It has two engraved capital letters 'EH'. These are probably the owner's initials. The hoop is 5.9 wide with D shaped cross section 3.5 mm thick. Only about 10% of the hoop is present, so original diameter can not be determined. The finger ring has a length of 18.8 mm, it is 14.7 mm wide and 7.1 mm thick. It weighs 3.9 g.
