Description: A complete gold and gem set finger ring. The hoop is sub circular in shape, with no decoration on the band. The gem is set in a rectangular raised bezel, positioned with the long edges at right angles to the hoop. A dark red or purple gem is set inside the bezel. It does not appear to be faceted.

A complete gold finger ring with a purple gem stone setting dating to the Medieval period (c.AD1300-1400).
The plain hoop is 17.3mm in internal diameter, 1.4 mm wide and 0.4mm thick, with a D shaped cross section. The shoulders are a thin ridge, 1.2 mm wide, by either side of the bezel.
The bezel is hollow and oval in shape measuring 4.3 mm by 3.4 mm and has a biconical collet 3.0 mm in height. The cabochon stone, probably a garnet, has been pushed down inside the bezel.

A complete gilded finger ring, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1500).
The hoop of the finger ring has three panels, depicted as scrolls with black letter nielo inscriptions. Between each panel are three circular bosses. The inscription reads: good bere bourd.
The finger ring has an external diameter of 21.2 mm and an internal one of 17.5 mm. The Hoop is 4.7 mm wide and 2.4 mm thick. The panels are 11.4 mm long. It weighs 3.0 g.

A complete gold finger ring of 15th Century AD dating.
The finger ring has a D shaped cross section. The exterior of the hoop is decorated with a twisted cable design, with an flat internal face. It has an inscription in black letter script, which reads 'De bon cuer', translated as 'willingly or from the heart'. The inscription is separated into three sections, separated by two bands with possible tulip shaped flowers. No inscription or maker's marks are present on the interior face. It may have originally been enamelled.

An incomplete gold and gem finger ring of Medieval dating (13th Century AD).
Around 50 percent of the finger ring is present, with one shoulder and part of the hoop missing. The bezel consists of a raised hexagonal collet, with a partial green gem inside. Four circular satellite collets are located to either side and top and bottom. The gems are missing from two of the collets. A complete gold and gem finger ring, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500).
The finger ring comprises an integral cylindrical bezel and a rectangular sectioned hoop. The shoulders are rectangular in shape, decorated with five parallel engraved grooves on one side and six grooves on the other. The shoulders 3.4 mm wide and 1.8 mm long. At the shoulders, the hoop is 3.0 mm wide and 1.1 mm thick. The hoop gradually reduces in width until it is 1.8 mm wide and 1.1 mm thick at the back of the finger ring. A complete gold finger ring, of uncertain dating, but probably Post Medieval to Modern in dating (AD 1750 to AD 1900).
The finger ring has a flat rectangular sectioned hoop. The bezel is unusual, consisting of a concave recess, with an circular sectioned bar mounted above it. Domed terminals are present on either end of the bar. It is uncertain whether anything was mounted on or beneath the bar.
The finger ring has an external diameter of 20.89 mm, an internal diameter of 17.69 mm. The hoop has a maximum width of 3.18 mm and a maximum thickness of 2.03 mm. It weighs 3.8 grams.
