An incomplete cast copper alloy pastry jigger, of Post Medieval dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD).
Approximately 75% of the pastry jigger is present, with the wheel / cutting end missing. The object is 'T' shaped and terminates in a 'crimped' zig zag rectangular end, presumably to be used in decorating the pastry. The shaft is circular section and gradually tapers to a mid point, where a spherical knop is positioned. Above the knop, the shaft gradually tapers up to an old, pre depositional break or fracture.
