A complete two disc seal cloth seal, displaying a clothworker's personal privy mark, of late 18th to early 19th Centuries Dating AD. The cloth seal is of the two disc type, with a rivet on disc one pushed through a hole on disc 2. Disc 1 does not bear a design. This seal is of the two disc type as it comprises two circular discs riveted together. An eagle facing left within a circular cartouche is on the front disc. An incomplete lead alloy cloth seal, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600). One circular disc is present, probably the remains of a two part cloth seal. A triangular rivet is present in the centre of the reverse. The obverse depicts a crowned rose (a five petalled flower with a central pellet). Part of an inscription can be read: BVRT. It has a diameter of 20.6 mm and is 3.3 mm thick. It weighs 4.6 g. A similar cloth seal has been recorded on the PAS database as WMID-B1EFF7.
