An incomplete probable casting jet from copper casting, of uncertain dating (AD 43 to AD 1650). The casting jet is sub triangular in plan and section. The top surface is sub oval in shape, with a rounded edge. The surface is covered with air bubbles. Beneath this oval surface, the casting jet narrows to a rectangular strip. It measures 19.11 mm in length, 29.32 mm wide and 16.02 mm thick. It weighs 20.2 g. The casting jet is a mid to dark green colour, with an uneven surface patina.
