An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy button, of Post medieval dating (18th to 19th Centuries AD).
The button is circular in plan, with raised symmetrical decoration on the front. A raised central pellet is present, with the rest of the design radiating from that. Eight diagonal rays extend from the centre, separating the button into eight segments. An open trilobed design is present in the middle of each segment. An arched tressure is present around the edge of the button.
The back of the button exhibits the design in reverse relief, suggesting that it may have been press moulded…

An incomplete solid cast lead or lead alloy button, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval (1500 to 1700 AD) dating.
The head of the button is disc (circular) in shape. The front of the button is decorated with five raised pellets, one small one in the centre, and four larger ones arranged around it in a cross arrangement.
The reverse of the button is plain and undecorated, apart from exhibiting a casting seam across the centre. The remnants of the attachment loop are present by a rectangular lug located at the centre. The rest of the loop is missing.

An incomplete cast white metal (probably pewter) button, of Post Medieval (17th Century) dating.
The button is sub circular in plan, and convex (domed) in profile. The front of the button is relatively plain apart from a pronounced pellet located at the centre. Three less pronounced pellets are present surrounding the central one in a vague cross arrangement. A small notch has been removed from one side of the button. The back of the button is flat and undecorated. A depression is present in the centre, probably when the original attachment loop was.

An incomplete cast white metal (probably pewter) button, of Post Medieval (17th Century) dating.
The button is sub circular in plan, and convex (domed) in profile. The front of the button is relatively plain apart from a pronounced pellet located at the centre. A small notch has been removed from one side of the button. The back of the button is flat and undecorated. The remnants of an iron attachment loop are present.
The button is a mid grey colour, with an even shiny patina.
The button measures 13.72mm in diameter and is 5.93mm thick. It weighs 2.7 grams.
