An incomplete silver probable button, probably of Post medieval dating (19th to 20th Century AD). Around 25% of the button is present, consisting of a sheet silver decorated layer, which would have covered the button back. The button would have originally been circular in shape, but the fragment present is sub square. From the amount present, a ropework border is visible around the outside and possible foliate design on the inside.
