An incomplete silver probable walking stick cane decoration or furniture fitting of Post Medieval to Modern dating (c. AD 1750 to c. AD 1950). The artefact is cuboid in shape and hollow. It consists of a hollow rectangle ontop of a curved base. The top of the artefact has been decorated with a couple of horizontal lines. The edges taper inwards onto the curved base. The base is concave and would have attached onto a curved item, probably a walking stick or cane. It measures 21.1 mm in length, 14.3 mm wide and 8.6 mm thick. It weighs 6.3 g. A fragment of probable silver inlay. It consists of thin piece of silver metal, decorated on one side. The lower edge is curved. The decoration consists of crossing fleur-de-lys or leaf-tendrils forming an inward pointing triangle in which is a further leaf-motif. This decoration is set against a back-ground of roughly incised lines which could represent the keying for enamel or niello inlay although the cells lack sufficient depth to retain inlay. A complete gilded silver decorated lozenge, of uncertain function but probably of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500). The artefact consists of a lozenge or diamond shape, with a punched design on the front and an engraved numerals on the back. The front consists of a four petalled flower, with a central pellet and small rectangular leaves between each petal. Traces of gilding are present around the edges of the design. An unidentified probable silver artefact of uncertain function and dating. The artefact is sub oval in plan, and oval in section. One surface has a raised sub oval area. Edges are incomplete and exhibit breaks, suggesting it was part of a larger object. It measures 36.22 mm in length, 25.26 mm wide and 9.42 mm thick. It weighs 46.8 g (1.65 oz). The artefact is a mid to dark grey colour, and an even surface. It is probably made from silver, but weight and colouring is suggestive that it may be a heavily leaded copper alloy. An incomplete cast silver object, of uncertain function and dating. The artefact is teardrop (pointed oval) shape in plan, and irregular in cross section. A small semi circular notch has been removed from one side of the rounded end. One side is flat and undecorated. The other side exhibits a semi circular vertical protrusion.
