An incomplete gilded silver seal top spoon finial of Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1600). Around 25% of the spoon is present, consisting of the baluster finial only. The finial has a flattened disc top, with the initials W / T.A engraved onto it using multiple small circular punches. Beneath the seal top, the stem narrows before expanding into a circular collar decorated by vertical grooves. Then the stem narrows again prior to expanding to a teardrop shape. An incomplete silver rat tail Hanoverian type spoon of Post Medieval dating (AD 1690 - AD 1830). Over 75% of the spoon is present, with the top of the spoon bowl split and folded upwards. The spoon bowl was oval. No hall marks present.The handle is in the Old English style. On the reverse, a 'rat's tail' forms at the base of the spoon and extends to the mid-point on the back on the spoon bowl. On the reverse of the stem, in the wider section, are the owner's initials, 'F.G'. It measures 110.2 mm in length, 20.9 mm wide and 1.8 mm thick. It weighs 9.7 g. …

An incomplete silver spoon, of Post Medieval dating (probably AD 1650 to AD 1750). Around 50% of the spoon is present, with half of the bowl and handle missing, presumed lost in antiquity. Around 25% of the bowl is present and the angles at the shoulder are suggestive of a fig shaped bowl. A triangular 'rat tail' is present on the reverse. An incomplete silver spoon handle, of Post Medieval dating (16th Century AD). The handle is an elongated 'tear drop' shape, with a rounded end. The front exhibits a central ridge (Hanoverian terminal) and the back is flat. Two initials have been scratched on the reverse 'S*C', presumably those of the original owner. The handle has broken across the hallmark, with only the standard mark being present. An incomplete cast silver gilt finial from an Apostle spoon, of Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (15th to 16th Centuries AD). The finial consists of robed figure, with bare head and chin length chin, holding a book in his right hand and either a saw or a one sided palm frond in his left. The figure is stood on a double fluted hexagonal shaped base. It measures 32.01mm in length, 11.46mm wide and 8.88mm thick. It weighs 10.9 grams.
