A cast copper alloy finger ring with moulded decoration, most likely of medieval date (1200 to 1500 AD). The finger ring consists of a cast copper alloy hoop with moulded decoration. It has a D shaped cross section with a prominent ridge on the external surface. This central ridge is 2.7mm wide and is flanked by two parallel recessed edges, each 1.1mm wide. The edges demonstrate a repeating series of small vertical incised lines all around the circumference of the hoop. A complete wrought copper alloy ring, probably the finger ring of a child, of unknown dating. The ring is circular in plan, and circular in cross section. It consists of a drawn copper alloy wire wrapped and fixed together to form a solid unbroken ring. A small swelling is present where the two ends of the wire overlap and have been welded together. Small transverse scratch marks are present, where the ring has been filed and polished, but other than these, no signs of decoration are apparent. An incomplete silver finger ring, of Roman dating (43 AD to 410 AD). The ring is incomplete, missing an inset intaglio (oval setting), but is otherwise in good condition. The ring is D shaped in section. The ring is no longer circular in plan, being squashed out of shape, and is now oval in shape. It measures 21.29mm tall, 26.98mm wide, 13.18 thick at the bezel, 3.88mm thick at the base of the hoop and the hoop is 3.42mm thick. It weighs 10.7 grams. The ring has been reported as Treasure, being older than 300 years with a precious metal (silver) content of greater than 10%.

A complete but misshapen silver finger ring, with rectangular bezel engraved with initials 'H J S'. The hoop is plain, and the shoulders expand to the width of the bezel. Two rectangular boxes have been engraved on each shoulder. The finger ring has an external diameter of 20.14mm, internal of 18.47mm. The hoop is 2.81mm wide, and 0.81mm thick.
