The artefact is sub square in shape, with the remains of an iron shank extending from one corner. The front exhibits decoration. Five rounded pellets in the centre, in a cross design, within an arched tressure, all within a lozenge shaped cartouche. The reverse has a raised cross design. The corners are rounded.
