A complete lead or lead alloy biconical spindle whorl of Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1450). The spindle whorl is circular in shape, with an slightly offset central perforation (hole). This hole has an internal diameter of 9.3 mm. The spindle whorl has been decorated with pellets on the upper side and a zig zag or repeating chevrons on the lower side.
