The button can be described in two parts: The head and the shank.
The head is biconvex in shape. Faint grooved spiral decoration is present on the head, centred around a raised pellet. The shank consists of a sub rectangular piece of metal with a circular peforation (hole) located in the middle. The internal diameter of the hole is 2.7 mm

An incomplete small iron key from a rotary lock, of Late Roman dating (AD 200 to AD 400).
The key consists of a D-sectioned circular bow with a rectangular stem projecting from one side. The bit of the key is also rectangular but is set at an angle of 90° to that of the stem, which is a Roman characteristic. The bit has two horizontal clefts cut into it, one on each side, creating an S shape. No decoration is present on the key.

An incomplete copper alloy strap clasp or buckle frame, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1350 to AD 1400).
The clasp or buckle has an incomplete rectangular frame with an integrally cast anthropomorphic king's head design in high relief at one end. Although the facial features are worn, grooves visible on either side of the head represent hair, and the crown is perforated with two holes. The reverse of the fitting is hollow and the surviving fragments of the arms, which form the sides of the frame are set in an upright position thereby creating depth to the central opening. An incomplete copper alloy dress hook (blunt hooked hook), of Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 - AD 1700).
The hooked tag is ovoid (oval) in plan, with originally three debased trefoil attachment knops (or loops), of which one is complete, the other two are incomplete. An incomplete blunt hook is present. The centre of the tag is decorated with an oval panel bearing a a spray of three flowers, bordered by ring and dot motifs. A projecting angular collar is present at the juncture between the plate and hook. The back is plain and undecorated.

he fragment consists of two large spring coils and a fragment of a further coil or pin; attached on the other side of the spring coils is a simple strip of copper alloy, which is circular in cross-section, presumably the brooch body or the pin.

The vessel fragment is sub triangular in shape and sub rectangular in cross section. It consists of a straight body, with an external and internal central rib. Both the upper and lower surfaces are rough. Patches of a black surface patina are present on all surfaces.
It measures 13.7 mm in length, 59.6 mm wide and 39.2 mm thick. It weighs 117.2 grams.

A complete copper alloy double loop sub annular buckle frame, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1650 to AD 1720).
The buckle frame is complete. The plate and pin are missing, presumably lost in antiquity. The buckle frame is sub annular in shape, with two semi circular loops. The frame exhibits moulded decoration, consisting of 10 moulded recessed concave roundels. These roundels are now empty but would have originally held glass stones. The reverse is plain and undecorated.
The buckle frame measures 29.6 mm in length, 26.3 mm wide and 3.5 mm thick. It weighs 6.4 grams.

An incomplete enamelled copper alloy strap slide or fitting, of Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (200 BC to AD 100).
The strap fitting is sub rectangular in shape. The front has been decorated with a high relief design, within a wide border. Remnants of red enamel survive in the recesses of the design. The design consists of two petals (pointed ovals with a central circle), set at an angle and joined together by the stalk.
