An incomplete copper alloy small long brooch dating to the Early Medieval Period c. AD 400-600. Around 25% of the brooch is present, consisting only of the foot. The main body of the object is axe-shaped. It extends below the apex, with a narrow neck, the concave sides flaring into a wide crescent shaped blade with a convex lower edge. The corners are rounded. The blade is 1.6 mm thick at the neck, narrowing to 1.3 mm at the blade edge. An incomplete copper alloy mount, of Post medieval dating (AD 1500 - AD 1650). The mount is bifurcate at one end, waisted in the centre and oval knopped at the other end. No decoration is present on the front or reverse of the mount. It is possible that the overall design is phallic depicting an erect penis and testicles. One complete and one incomplete circular sectioned attachment spikes extend from the reverse of the mount. The complete spike tapers to a blunt point. An incomplete copper alloy strap end of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1450). Around 50% of the strap end is present, consisting of an incomplete front plate and a partial back plate. The front plate is rectangular with a semi circular end and is broken into two fragments. The reverse plate is sub rectangular in shape. The upper plate is flat with bevelled edges which extend under the reverse plate. Two small circular copper alloy rivets attach the front plate to the reverse plate. A complete copper alloy rectangular buckle strap plate of Medieval dating (c. AD 1350 to AD 1450). Originally folded around the strap bar is a buckle plate formed from sheet metal. The edges of the buckle plate have been narrowed to allow for the off setting of the strap bar on the buckle frame. A complete copper alloy English Jetton, dating to the period AD 1310 to AD 1400. It was issued during the reigns of Edward II (1307-1327), or Edward III (1327-1377). The obverse of the jetton shows a shield with the three lions of England passant guardant within, and three fleury decorations around the outside. No external border.
