An incomplete copper alloy strap distributor or fitting of Uncertain date, but probably of the Early Medieval to Post Medieval period, dating from c. AD 800 - c. AD 1600. The object is broadly circular in section. There is a thin D shaped loop at one end with angular loops next to the strap bar. The loop is flat and is rectangular in section. There is an incomplete circular sectioned strap bar extending from the centre of the inner loop. The strap bar is incomplete and has been broken at the terminal end, presumed in antiquity.
