A complete gold signet finger ring of modern dating (AD 1800 onwards) The finger ring has an oval bezel, with triangular shoulders. The hoop has a rectangular cross section. No maker's marks are present. The oval bezel has decorated with a stylised sun and moon design. The sun is positioned on the upper right part of the bezel and is formed from six elongated diamond v shaped cuts. The moon is positioned on the lower left part of the bezel and is of the crescent shape. It has been made from seven smaller diamond shaped cuts, all of slightly different sizes and set at an angle.
