An incomplete cast two piece, probable dress hook (hooked tag / clasp), of Early Post Medieval dating (16th Century AD). The clasp consists of a two piece, possibly three piece cast composite hooked clasp. The front piece is circular in plan, with a sheet metal fitting for a gemstone, now missing. Around the outside edge, is a two strand twisted silver wire ropework as decoration. The reverse is plain and undecorated.
