An incomplete cast silver object, of uncertain function and dating.
The artefact is teardrop (pointed oval) shape in plan, and irregular in cross section. A small semi circular notch has been removed from one side of the rounded end. One side is flat and undecorated. The other side exhibits a semi circular vertical protrusion.
It measures 17.63 mm in length, 8.32 mm wide and has a maximum thickness of 2.91 mm. The metal is 0.76 mm thick. It weighs 0.6 grams.
It is a mid to dark grey with an even surface patina.
