A cast copper alloy asymmetrical buckle, of Medieval dating (c.1350 -1450). The buckle consists of an oval loop with attached rectangular strap bar. It is rectangular in cross section. The front part of the buckle is oval in plan, with a D-shaped cross section. A pin notch / rest is present at the centre of the outer edge. A cast copper alloy annular buckle (or possible annular 'ring' brooch) of medieval date (1200-1400). The buckle is circular in plan with a circular cross section. There is no evidence for a constriction within the frame of the buckle to which a pin would fit. Instead the pin is attached by a large loop which moves freely around the frame. An incomplete copper alloy book or strap fitting, of probable Medieval dating (1100 to 1500 AD). The fitting consists of two strips of copper alloy riveted together, it is sub rectangular in plan and rectangular in cross section. The upper plate is sub rectangular in plan, with bevelled outer edges, and the remnants of a hook at one end. The hook extends centrally from the end of the plate. A complete cast lead or lead alloy bi-convex decorated spindle whorl, of Roman to Post Medieval dating (1 - 1650 AD). The spindle whorl is sub circular in plan, and lentoid in cross section. Both the upper and lower faces have a cast rim along the edge (approx 4.5mm thick), with a similar rim around the inner edge. both the upper and lower faces have been decorated with alternating diagonal ribs, with pellets placed in the gaps between the ribs.
