The finger ring is polygonal in shape, with eight external facets (octagonal). The hoop has an circular cross section. The facets are flat. Each one is 10.8 m in length. No decoration is present on any facet.
The finger ring has a 21.4 mm external diameter, 18.0 mm internally. The hoop is 2.2 mm thick and 1.6 mm wide. It weighs 0.9 g.
The finger ring is a mid to dark green colour with an even surface patina.

An incomplete copper alloy dolphin (hinged) type, of Roman dating (AD 55 to AD 100).
Approximately 75% of the brooch is present, consisting of bow, wings and a partial catch plate. The rest of the brooch is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The bow is D-shaped, with an angled head. The wings are circular in shape. The reverse of the wing have been decorated with vertical grooves, giving the impression of a coiled spring. The bow is undecorated. The remains of a triangular catch plate with a folded edge to retain the pin is present at the foot of the bow.
