An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting / mount, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The mount is in the shape of a five pointed star (mullet). The front and back are flat. No other decoration is present. The remnants of two integral attachment spikes are present on the reverse of the mount. Both attachment spikes have a circular cross section. The mount measures 24.5 mm in length, 24.9 mm wide and 4.3 mm thick (including attachment spikes), 1.4 mm thick (not including attachment spikes). It weighs 2.3 g. A complete copper alloy strap fitting / mount, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The mount is 'S' shaped, with a thicker centre and rounded points at either end. An integral attachment spike, with a square cross section is present in the centre of the reverse. It gradually tapers towards a blunt point, which has been bent over at a slight angle. A complete copper alloy multifoil mount, of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1450). The mount is domed, with a concave underside and is of the multifoil type, having twelve teardrop shaped lobes, six larger than the others. The larger lobes are plain and decorated whereas the smaller lobes have been decorated with three raised pellets.
