A copper-alloy Roman dupondius of Antoninus Pius (AD 138 to AD 161), dating to the period AD 153-155 (Reece period 7). Libertas reverse type depicting Libertas standing left holding pileus and extending left hand. Mint of Rome. This is probably a coin of British Association, cf. BMC 1948; BM 1940, 0401.47; RIC III, pp. 141-142, nos. 920, 932; Walker, pp. 294 & 297-298, nos. 6-7, 27ff, pls. XXXIV-XXXV Diameter: 25.9 mm Thickness: 3.3 mm Weight: 11.8 g
