An incomplete copper-alloy medieval stirrup, of Medieval dating (c. 14th century AD). Around 25% of the stirrup is present, consisting only of the attachment end with a trapezoidal cover plate. The arms and foot rest are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. At the attachment end is a trapezoidal cover-plate, expanded at its base. On its front face it is divided in half by a median ridge, on either side of which is a further narrow low ridge. A complete copper alloy buckle, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1350 to c. AD 1400). The buckle consists of buckle frame, pin and plate. The buckle frame is D shaped, with an ornate outside edge. A double pin rest is present in the centre, with a flanking knop to either side. A horizontal bar is present next to the strap bar. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The reverse of the frame is flat and undecorated. The pin has been made from a triangular strip of sheet copper alloy metal. An incomplete silvered copper alloy book clasp of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1400), Howsam type A.9.2. Around 75% of the book clasp is present, consisting of the rectangular 'box chape' only. The lozengiform element is incomplete and the terminal is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The attachment end (box chape) is hollow and broadly rectangular although the sides flare gently outwards towards the end and the edges are at right angles to the faces. An incomplete cast copper alloy trebuchet or tumbrel-type folding coin balance, of Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1450). Approximately 25% of the tumbrel is present, consisting of half of the vertical arm casing / hinge. The balance arm is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
