A complete copper alloy buckle, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1350 to c. AD 1400). The buckle consists of buckle frame, pin and plate. The buckle frame is D shaped, with an ornate outside edge. A double pin rest is present in the centre, with a flanking knop to either side. A horizontal bar is present next to the strap bar. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The reverse of the frame is flat and undecorated. The pin has been made from a triangular strip of sheet copper alloy metal. A complete lead or lead alloy bi convex decorated spindle whorl, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1450). The spindle whorl is sub circular in shape, and lentoid in section. Both the upper and lower faces have been decorated with raised decoration. This decoration consists of multiple raised ridges, radiating outwards from the central hole. The ridges are around 1.5 mm wide. The central hole is circular in shape and has been cast / set roughly centrally. It has a internal diameter of 8.7 mm. A V shaped pin rest is present at the centre point of the outer edge. The buckle has a narrowed and off-set strap bar. Subrectangular knops are present at either end of the strap bar. The mount is domed, with a concave underside and is of the multifoil type, having twelve teardrop shaped lobes, six larger than the others. The larger lobes are plain and decorated whereas the smaller lobes have been decorated with three raised pellets. A complete sheet copper alloy plate from a clasp, of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1450). The find consists of a folded sheet of copper alloy metal, with five surviving copper alloy rivets. The clasp plate is sub rectangular in plan, and irregular in cross section. The left hand exhibits a fold in the metal, which would have originally gone round the strap bar of the clasp. No pin slot is present, therefore indicating that this was a plate for a strap clasp as opposed to a buckle. No signs of decoration on are present on the front of the plate.
