A complete cast lead or lead alloy flat spindle whorl, of Roman to Post Medieval dating (43 - 1650 AD). The spindle whorl is sub circular in plan, and rectangular (flat) in cross section. The central hole is sub circular in shape and has been cast off centre. The internal diameter of the hole measures 11.02 mm wide. No traces of decoration are present on either the upper or lower faces. The whorl has a diameter of 30.02mm and is 8.77mm thick. It weighs 45.4 grams. A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic D shaped buckle frame, of Early Medieval dating (1000 to 1100 AD). The frame is an irregular oval (D shape) in plan, with the apex of the frame being heavily swollen and tapering to the junction with the axis bar. The axis bas is offset from the plan of the frame. The buckle plate and the pin are missing. From the swollen mid point, the sides taper in both width and thickness to a slight axis bar. A complete but misshapen gold finger ring, with domed oval red glass / paste inset intaglio. The intaglio was possibly engraved but due to damage caused by movement in the plough soil, any engraving is hard to determine. The finger ring has been decorated by a series of double circles, with annulets in the centre, joined together by a raised bar. Two rectangular boxes have been engraved on each shoulder. The finger ring has an external diameter of 20.14mm, internal of 18.47mm. The hoop is 2.81mm wide, and 0.81mm thick.
