A complete copper alloy finger ring with square bezel of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 - AD 1800). The finger ring has a square bezel with bevelled edges. No design The hoop is integral. The hoop is circular and flat with angular edges.  The hoop has an external diameter 20.1 mm and an internal diameter 15.5 mm. The bezel is 16.2 mm long by 16.1 mm wide. The hoop is 2.3 mm thick and 5.1 mm wide. It weighs 10.2 g. The finger ring is mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

The lower section of the object is in the form of an animal's head with half-round nostrils at its distal end above which are two lateral projections representing the brow.
