A complete cast copper alloy swaging block, of modern date (c.1890 to 1930 AD). It is semi-circular in plan and consists of a cast of the upper jaw (maxilla) from an adult. The teeth present are (from right to left): PM2, PM1, I2, I1, C, PM1, PM2, M1. This means that the denture would have false teeth for the right canine, and left lateral & central incisors. The swaging block measures 41.38mm in height, 51.10mm wide and 32.04mm thick. It weighs 313.1 grams. Swaging blocks were used as part of the manufacture of dental plates. An incomplete cast copper alloy finial or knop from a baluster type spoon, of Post Medieval dating (1500 to 1600 AD). The finial or knop is hexagonal in section, and irregular in plan. It would have fitted onto a hexagonal sectioned handle. The finial consists of a fluted base, which narrows to a thin collar and a blunt rounded knop. It measures 21.43mm in length, 12.96mm wide and 13.66mm thick. It weighs 8.8 grams. The knop is a mid to dark green colour with an even surface patina. Spoons with a Baluster style knop or finials are typically of 16th Century dating.

The rim fragment is irregular in plan, but rectangular in cross section. The internal surface is smooth and polished. One faint concentric ridge is present on the exterior.
