A complete copper alloy strap end, dating to the Late Medieval period, circa AD 1400-1450. The strap end is triangular in plan and sub rectangular in cross section. The strap-end comprises of two plates, one which extends into a basal terminal; and a plain shorter back plate. The upper edges of the two plates are flat. An incomplete copper alloy belt mount, of Medieval date (13th to 15th Centuries). Around 75% of the mount is present, the projecting lugs are not present. The mount is of the bar type and consists of a domed central oval, missing the two projecting lugs which held the rivets. The central oval is domed, with five horizontal grooves as decoration in the middle. The reverse is concave. The reverse is undecorated.
