An incomplete copper alloy terret, of Late Iron Age dating (c. 300 BC - AD 100).
Around 25% of the terret is present, the rest presumed lost in antiquity.
The hoop of the terret is lentoid in cross section and originally the object would have been D-shaped in shape. The terret has an incomplete narrowed strap bar. No decoration is present at the junction between the ring and the strap bar, or on the ring itself.
It measures 18.19 mm in length, 25.51 mm wide and 8.35 mm thick. It weighs 7.1 g.

An incomplete copper alloy Langton Down brooch, of Late Iron Age to early Roman dating (AD 25 to AD 60).
Approximately 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of the head, the spring, and part of the bow. The catch plate and pin are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.

An incomplete cast copper alloy ring, possibly a finger ring or possibly harness fitting, of probable Iron Age to Roman dating (200 BC to AD 300).
The ring is cast in one piece and is relatively large and heavy. The ring is relatively uniform in diameter and broadly D shaped in cross section. It is decorated with a single circumferential recessed band which divides the ring unevenly. There seems to be no other surface decoration present.
The ring has an external diameter of 31.77 mm and an internal diameter of 19.42 mm. It is 10.95 mm wide and is 4.83 mm thick. It weighs 21.1 g.

A complete struck silver quarter stater of the Iron Age, South-Western (Durtriges), dating to 50 BC to AD 40, probably of the Duro Thunderbolt type. ABC (Rudd) p. 113, cf. 2217; BMC 2771-9. The obverse of the coin does, however, appear to have the 'three men in a boat' design which appears on the 'Badbury Rat' type (Rudd 2214).
The coin was presented for recording in a sealed coin wallet, so only diameter was able to be measured and this is not exact. Thickness and weight could not be determined.

All three fragments are light for their size, which would suggest that minimal iron metal is present within the matrix. All have a honeycomb structure, formed of solidified air bubbles.
