An incomplete copper alloy probable Pin head of Probable Late Iron Age dating (c. 200 BC to 100 AD). The probable pin head consists of a circular hemispherical (domed) head, with a flat back and a square sectioned shank underneath. The shank is incomplete, extending only for 9.4 mm. The shank has a maximum width of 5.7 mm and a maximum thickness of 6.2 mm. The top of the head has been decorated with a curvilinear style design. Incomplete Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy Aesica or Rosette brooch dating to the period c. 20 BC - AD 60. The pin mechanism and part of the catchplate are missing. The head exhibits C-shaped wings which would have housed the sprung pin mechanism, now missing.
