Description: A complete cast silver coiled or spiral, probable finger ring, of uncertain dating (100 BC to 800 AD). The probable finger ring consists of a D-section length of silver metal twisted into a spiral. One end of the piece of silver tapers to a point, the other is square ended, probably incomplete. No makers' marks are present on the interior or exterior. Some vertical scratch marks are present on the interior. The probable finger ring is shiny light grey colour, with an even surface patina. An incomplete silver finger ring, of Roman dating (43 AD to 410 AD). The ring is incomplete, missing an inset intaglio (oval setting), but is otherwise in good condition. The ring is D shaped in section. The ring is no longer circular in plan, being squashed out of shape, and is now oval in shape. It measures 21.29mm tall, 26.98mm wide, 13.18 thick at the bezel, 3.88mm thick at the base of the hoop and the hoop is 3.42mm thick. It weighs 10.7 grams. The ring has been reported as Treasure, being older than 300 years with a precious metal (silver) content of greater than 10%.

A complete cast silver finger ring with intaglio, of Roman datin (2nd to 3rd Centuries AD). The finger ring, sub-oval in plan, is a small example of Henig Type II. It has an oval hoop of D-shaped cross-section and smooth rounded shoulders, with an intaglio recessed in the centre of the flat bezel. The intaglio, a tiny oval carnelian, is set with its upper flat face a little proud of the bezel.
