An incomplete heavily worn silver possible threepence, possibly of Edward VI (AD 1547 to AD 1553), possibly dating to the period AD 1550 to AD 1553. The coin is heavily worn. This identification has been done by comparing flan sizes, a threepence of Edward VI was the closest match. But a halfgroat of Mary I or threepence of Elizabeth I are other possibilities as well. Possibly North vol 2, p 123, no 1940. Diameter: 22.0 mm Thickness: 0.4 mm Weight: 0.9 g
