An incomplete lead or lead alloy convex spindle whorl, of Roman to Post Medieval dating (AD 43 - AD 1650).
The spindle whorl is sub circular in shape, and domed in cross section. The central hole is sub circular in shape and has been cast slightly off central. The internal diameter of the hole measures 7.7 mm wide. Both upper and lower faces bear no trace of decoration.
The whorl has a diameter of 22.5 mm and is 7.1 mm thick. It weighs 17.0 g (0.60 oz).

A complete copper alloy probable pommel from a sword, dagger or mace of probable Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600).
The probable pommel is almost cuboid in shape and hollow. The top of the probable pommel is circular at the top, with the edges bevelled to turn a square into a circle. A sub circular perforation is at the centre of the top, with an internal diameter of 7.2 mm. Several depressions are present at the surface suggesting it has been impacted by a heavier tool. A complete lead or lead alloy probable lid for a small vessel or similar artefact, probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900).
The lid is conical in shape, with a circular hole at the top. This has an internal diameter of 11.0 mm. A triangular shaped vertical handle is present at the opposite side to the rectangular hinge. Two attachment lugs are still present, with an iron axis bar between them. The inside is concave with a lip at the base.
It is 21.5 mm wide, 30.9 mm thick and 10.1 mm tall. It weighs 7.47 g.
The lid is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

Less than 50% of the pin is present, consisting of the head and part of the shank. The shank has a rectangular cross section. The head is conical, with a flattened circular top. The base of the head has facetted sides which continue into the shank. No collar is present at the base of the head. The shank is not straight but exhibits a curve towards the end. The break is patinated.

The catch plate is triangular in shape, and has the lower part of the bow present. The folded rim is missing.
It measures 21.6 mm in length, 3.6 mm wide and 8.5 mm thick. It weighs 0.8 g.
The catch plate is a mid green colour with an even surface patina.
Triangular catch plates are common to many different styles of brooch, mostly likely Roman in date.

The head and upper part of the bow are intact. The loop, pin, spring, foot and catchplate are all missing.
The head is circular in shape, with a single spring loop on the back. The head continues downwards into the bow. A swelling is present at the mid point with a horizontal groove above and below. Beneath the swelling, the remains of the bow have a triangular cross section, with each side bevelled.
