Two incomplete copper alloy joining fragments of a possible strainer, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The possible strainer consists of a semi circular strip, bearing a row of drilled circular holes or perforations. It is incomplete, with both ends having broken over a set of holes. One fragment measures 25.8 mm in length, 16.5 mm wide and 2.6 mm thick. It weighs 3.3 g. The other fragment measures 19.6 mm in length, 16.3 mm wide and 2.5 mm thick. It weighs 2.6 g. An incomplete cast copper alloy strainer, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (1300 to 1600 AD). The fragment is irregular in plan and profile. It consists of a sheet of copper alloy metal with a series of irregularly spaced holes or perforations punched into it. Six (6) holes are present, all but one are full of soil or metal corrosion products. The empty hole has an internal perforation of 2.26mm.
