Description: A complete cast silver coiled or spiral, probable finger ring, of uncertain dating (100 BC to 800 AD). The probable finger ring consists of a D-section length of silver metal twisted into a spiral. One end of the piece of silver tapers to a point, the other is square ended, probably incomplete. A complete wrought copper alloy ring, probably the finger ring of a child, of unknown dating. The ring is circular in plan, and circular in cross section. It consists of a drawn copper alloy wire wrapped and fixed together to form a solid unbroken ring. A small swelling is present where the two ends of the wire overlap and have been welded together. The finger ring consists of a sub rectangular strip of copper alloy sheet metal, with tapered ends, folded into a sub circular shape, with the tapered ends meeting. A complete cast copper alloy finger ring of Roman date, circa AD43-200. The ring is 'stirrup shaped' with a D-sectioned hoop expanding towards the shoulders, which flares into an oval bezel. The shape of the ring falls within Guiraud Type 2g. The setting contains red enamel with a slightly raised 'III' surrounded by a curving line. The design is catagorised by Daubney as Group 5d. Dimensions: The hoop has an external diameter of 19.44mm. From the outside of the bezel to the back of the hoop is 19.66mm. The bezel is 6.64mm wide. The ring weighs 2.2g.

The shoulders are triangular and flattened, with five sets of incised lines that expand from the loop outwards towards the bezel. An incomplete silver finger ring, of Roman dating (43 AD to 410 AD). The ring is incomplete, missing an inset intaglio (oval setting), but is otherwise in good condition. The ring is D shaped in section. The ring is no longer circular in plan, being squashed out of shape, and is now oval in shape. It measures 21.29mm tall, 26.98mm wide, 13.18 thick at the bezel, 3.88mm thick at the base of the hoop and the hoop is 3.42mm thick. It weighs 10.7 grams. The ring has been reported as Treasure, being older than 300 years with a precious metal (silver) content of greater than 10%.

A complete cast silver finger ring with intaglio, of Roman datin (2nd to 3rd Centuries AD). The finger ring, sub-oval in plan, is a small example of Henig Type II. It has an oval hoop of D-shaped cross-section and smooth rounded shoulders, with an intaglio recessed in the centre of the flat bezel. The intaglio, a tiny oval carnelian, is set with its upper flat face a little proud of the bezel.
