The finger ring was originally circular in shape, but is now sub square, due to post depositional soil pressure deforming the band. It has a D shaped cross section. It has been decorated with a geometric grid pattern on the exterior containing significant remains of white enamel. Each square in the grid is approximately 1.0 mm wide.
