A cast copper alloy finger ring with moulded decoration, most likely of medieval date (1200 to 1500 AD). The finger ring consists of a cast copper alloy hoop with moulded decoration. It has a D shaped cross section with a prominent ridge on the external surface. This central ridge is 2.7mm wide and is flanked by two parallel recessed edges, each 1.1mm wide. The edges demonstrate a repeating series of small vertical incised lines all around the circumference of the hoop.
