An incomplete enamelled copper alloy finger ring, of probable Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1700). Around 50% of the finger ring is present, with half of the hoop missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The bezel is oval in shape, with recessed enamel decoration. The decoration consistsof a central blue rectangular bar, with a semi circle of probable white enamel to either side. The bezel has a length of 13.1 mm and is 10.3 mm wide. The shoulders are plain. The hoop is rectangular in cross section. It measures 10.9 mm in length, 20.9 mm wide and 11.9 mm thick. …
