A complete gold sleeping ear ring, of Modern dating (AD 1900 to AD 2013). The ear ring is circular in shape, with a circular cross section. The ear ring has been hinged, to enable fitting into the ear. No hallmarks are present. It has an external diameter of 13.08 mm, and internal one of 10.49 mm and is 1.09 mm thick. It weighs 0.4 g. A complete composite gold Earring of probable Post Medieval to Modern dating (AD 1800 to AD 1900). The ear ring comprises two separate parts: a pendant / decorative element and the wire section to suspend it from the ear. The wire part consists of a circular sectioned recurved piece of wire, terminating in an globular knop. The wire has a diameter of 0.83 mm. An incomplete silver wire, probable ear ring of Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). The ear ring consists of a length of silver wire, bent round in an incomplete circular shape. A loop terminal is present, consisting of the wire twisted back on itself to form a circular loop. The hook end is incomplete. The shank of the ear ring consists of a circular sectioned piece of wire that gradually swells in diameter towards the middle / base of the earring and thins towards either terminals.
