An incomplete copper alloy single loop spur buckle with an integral plate of medieval dating (c.AD 1250-1400). The head of the buckle has an oval frame leading to the body which is slightly concave and tapers to a point. There are two rivet holes below the loop which have been filled and are intersected by a horizontal ridge. Iron corrosion products obscure the holes and part of the loop. An incomplete strap plate from a buckle or clasp, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500).  The strap plate is sub rectangular in plate, with a pointed terminal. The other end has been wrapped around a strap bar. Iron corrosion products partially obscure the end, but a rectangular notch is visible, presumably for a pin (now missing).
