Around 95% of the buckle or brooch pin is present, with the loop incomplete. The pin is rectangular in shape and cross section. It tapers to a blunt point. One ridge is present at the junction between the loop and the pin shaft. The loop would have originally been circular in shape. The buckle or brooch pin measures 45.1 mm in length, 4.0 mm wide and is 12.0 mm thick. It weighs 4.7 g. The buckle or brooch pin is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina.
