An incomplete stone possible mould, for an uncertain object, possibly a spear tip, possibly of Middle Bronze Age dating (2300 BC to 1500 BC).
Around 25% of the possible stone mould is present, consisting of a triangular recess, with raised edges. The reverse is rounded with no signs of working. Breaks are present along the raised edges and at the base of the triangular recess.
It measures 60.7 mm in length, 31.2 mm wide and 13.0 mm thick. It weighs 31.7 g.
The stone is a fine grained probable sandstone. Light brown in colour, with a smooth surface.

A sub rectangular, sandstone rock with ogham script inscribed down three of the four sides. The front and back sides are smooth. The rock is a dark grey colour and likely to be a shist type rock (metamorphic mudstone/shale). The incisions appear to have been done in a single action, not repeated.
It measures 110 mm in length, 38 mm wide and 19 mm thick. It weighs 139 g.
Katherine Forsyth (University of Glasgow) has confirmed that the markings are those of an ogham inscription. The script is that of an early style, most likely 5th to 6th Century but possibly as early as 4th Century. T…

A complete unifacial quartzite handaxe, of Lower and / or Middle Palaeolithic dating (400, 000 BC to 50, 000 BC).
The quartzite handaxe has been struck from a pebble core. It has been worked unifacially (one side). Approximately 50% of the pebble has been worked. Two large flakes have been removed, to create the main shape, with a couple of smaller flakes removed from the right hand side to create a slightly serrated edge.
It measures 102.1 mm in length, 58.5 mm wide and 33.1 mm thick. It weighs 314 g.
The quartzite is a mid brown colour, with a couple of curved red veins.
