A complete but misshapen gold finger ring, with domed oval red glass / paste inset intaglio. The intaglio was possibly engraved but due to damage caused by movement in the plough soil, any engraving is hard to determine. The finger ring has been decorated by a series of double circles, with annulets in the centre, joined together by a raised bar. The finger ring has an external diameter of 22.95mm, and an internal diameter of 17.53mm. The back of the hoop is 2.64mm wide and 0.83mm thick. The bezel is 13.93mm wide and 18.57mm long. A complete hand made twisted gold wire, probable finger ring, of uncertain dating. The probable finger ring has been made from two lengths of gold wire twisted together. The ends have been solded together. Due to post depositional pressure, the finger ring is no longer circular, but more ovoid (egg) shaped. The finger ring measures 27.72 mm in length, 9.08 mm wide and 1.27 mm thick. It weighs 0.5 g. The finger ring is a mid yellow colour, with a shiny surface. A complete gold possible finger ring, of probable Post Medieval to Modern dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900). The possible finger ring is rectangular in section and would have originally been circular in plan. It is now sub oval in plan. A complete gold finger ring, of probable Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (15th to 17th Centuries AD). The finger ring has a D shaped section and sub circular in plan. The exterior is plain. The interior bears the following inscription: A FRENDS GIFT. Small crosses have been used as punctuation marks. Due to being mishappen, the original diameter is hard to determine, but probably was around 19 mm. Internal diameter is around 17 mm. The hoop is 2.99 mm wide and 1.01 mm thick. It weighs 1.7 g. The finger ring is a dark yellow colour, with an even shiny surface patina.
