An incomplete copper alloy foot / leg from a copper alloy cooking vessel of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 - AD 1700).
The vessel fragment is sub triangular, with an oval cross section. It consists of a triangular body, with the edges tapering down to a blunt point. The internal surface is smooth. At the top of the leg, a rough surface is present, where it separated from the vessel base. The base of the foot is slightly abraded.
It measures 30.3 mm in length, 34.8 mm wide and 21.9 mm thick. It weighs 79.4 grams.

The vessel fragment is sub rectangular in plan and sub triangular in cross section. The vessel leg has a flared terminal, probably imitating an animal paw. A horizontal ridge is located above the flared terminal. The interior surface is flat. Both the top and base have been broken at an angle and exhibits a rough, uneven surface.

A complete copper alloy openwork zoomorphic cruciform mount of probable 11th Century dating.
The mount is cruciform in shape, with zoomorphic (animal) heads on each terminal. They have a rounded nose with two recessed circular eyes above. Two smaller circular recesses are positioned above the eyes as ears. The mount is domed and hollow. Above the zoomorphic heads, it extends into an openwork cube with the upper face solid with a circular recess. A gem or coral may have been originally been positioned here. An incomplete copper alloy rotary key of probable Medieval dating (AD 1150 to AD 1400).
Around 50% of the key is present, consisting of most of the shank and bit. The bow or handle is missing.
The shank consists of an hollow cylindrical rod. One collar either side of a swelling is present, where the shank would attached to the handle. The shank is undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy Polden Hill brooch of Roman date, circa (AD 80 - 120).
The brooch consists of the head, wings, upper part of bow, rearward facing hook and spring. The pin, lower bow, foot and catchplate are missing.
The bow head is hump-like, and slightly angular (comma shaped) in profile. The rearward facing hook is present on the head and is keeping some of the spring in place. A complete circular copper alloy weight or large token, of probable Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410).
The weight is circular in shape, with a flat cross section. The front has been decorated with a forward facing head, with tendrils or snakes extending from the top of the head, and curving round the face. Similar to that of a Medusa style face with snakes as hair. The face is triangular in shape, with a horizontal slit mouth, and circular eyes. The reverse is flat and undecorated.

An incomplete enamelled copper alloy pelta plate brooch of Roman dating (2nd Century AD).
Less than 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of the lower curve of the plate. The surviving part of the brooch is crescent shaped with patinated breaks along the upper edges and on the terminals. The front has been decorated with two different colours of enamel, in recessed cells. In the centre is a vertically orientated rectangle. This one is a light, almost white blue enamel.
