A rim fragment of a copper alloy vessel of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 - AD 1700). The rim fragment has a rectangular cross section. The rim type consists of a bevelled type. This section is possibly from a cooking vessel either a cauldron or posnet (See Fig 1 in Butler, Green and Payne 2009 for examples of the vessel type).
