An incomplete moulded figurative mount of probable Late Post Medieval to Modern dating (18th Century onwards). The mount is sub triangular in shape, with openwork details. The back is recessed. On the left hand side of the front, is a figurative person. The head is raised prominently away from the base of the mount. The detail for hair or a hat is uncertain. The eyes are circular and infilled with a dark material, possibly jet. A triangular nose is positioned between and below the eyes. A complete copper alloy mount, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500). The mount is rectangular in shape, with a slight convex cross section. The front is slightly domed, whereas the reverse is flat. The front has been decorated with a horizontal groove, with several small vertical grooves positioned just below it. A similar row of small vertical grooves is present, along the other long edge. A circular sectioned copper alloy rivet is present, located in the centre of the mount. It has a diameter of 1.4 mm. A complete cast copper alloy bar mount, of Medieval dating (c.1200 to c. 1500 AD). The mount is sub rectangular in plan, and D shaped in section. At the centre of the bar is a square panel with faint cross hatched decoration and traces of gilding. Either side of the central panel both arms are identical and have a short faceted section followed by a prominent transverse ridge. A complete cast copper alloy mount of 11th century dating. The mount is irregular in plan. It consists of an openwork interlaced zoomorphic style design on the front, with two facing beasts with gaping mounts. The beast heads are located at the base, on either side, with their tails interlocking at the top of the mount. No flange is present on the reverse of the mount. The back is plain and undecorated.
