An incomplete cast copper alloy double looped oval (spectacle) buckle frame of Post Medieval dating (AD 1550 to AD 1650). Approximately 50% of the buckle frame is present. The pin and the buckle plate are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The buckle frame is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with a slight integrally cast central bar to which a pin would have been attached.
